Music Is Social

One of the things that I love about music is the fact that it is something that people love to share.  If you are a musician, you do not just simply keep your music to yourself.  You want as many people as possible to hear it and enjoy it.  Keeping music on the down low would mean that you would not have an audience, so what would be the point?  Sharing is fun, especially when you are sharing music.  How are people sharing the music that they love these days?

Social media is making music sharing super fun and easy.  Thanks to social media music is pretty much better than ever because you can find new music, share music, talk about music, and even promote your favorite bands.  No matter what social networking site you prefer, all of them make it easy to listen to, share, and participate in music.  you can see evidence of this in the infographic that is below.

If you are a musician and you are not yet using social media, what are you waiting for?  Get your music heard and grow your fan base.  Sure, it takes a little time, but in the end it will be so very worth it.
